Tamworth Beware Those Silent Lambs

Tamworth Beware Those Silent Lambs
Tamworth boss Gary Mills, the take no prisoners ex Nottingham Forest and Leicester midfielder has rescued Stefan Oakes from Sutton`s Lincoln City scrap heap. Oakes a free agent was described as being able to peel carrots with his left foot by former boss Peter Jackson.

Also in at the far from silent lambs, Danny Thomas from Kettering on a free and Scott Barrow from Port Talbot on a free. David Grof had come in between the sticks on loan before being recalled by parent club Notts County. Mills has been quick to replace him with Ross Atkins from Derby for a month.

Mills is an outstanding motivator and should not be underestimated, he even came on in the promotion winning game at Telford in 2008/9. Thus after a season of consolidation they will look to push on both on and off the rfield. An 800,000 TITC (Tamworth in The Community) initiative is also now in full swing.
